Pre conference workshop 15th September

13:30-17:00 Preparing for Network-Enabled Operations.

The workshop will identify the emerging challenges of preparing our forces for increasingly network-enabled operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. It will explain how these are currently being tackled, using UK Joint and Land Forces as exemplars. The unique contributions of individual and collective training, experimentation and mission rehearsal will be examined. Defence Industry’s potentially pivotal role in supporting and enhancing these activities will be explored. Those who attend will come away with a clear grasp of today’s challenges, and the opportunities which exist to for a Military/Industry partnership to overcome them. This outcome will be facilitated by a mix of presenters from the UK armed forces and Defence Industry.
