Pre conference workshop 15th September
13:30-17:00 Preparing for Network-Enabled Operations.
The workshop will identify the emerging challenges of
preparing our forces for increasingly network-enabled
operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. It will
explain how these are currently being tackled, using UK
Joint and Land Forces as exemplars. The unique
contributions of individual and collective training,
experimentation and mission rehearsal will be examined.
Defence Industry’s potentially pivotal role in supporting
and enhancing these activities will be explored. Those
who attend will come away with a clear grasp of today’s
challenges, and the opportunities which exist to for a
Military/Industry partnership to overcome them. This
outcome will be facilitated by a mix of presenters from
the UK armed forces and Defence Industry.
